TUFC Gunners Claim Premier League Crown

The TUFC Gunners completed a fairytale season with a triumphant 3-2 penalty shoot out victory over the Canberra City Prawns at the AIS Arena after an exhilarating 3-3 draw in the Grand Final of the 2008 Capital Futsal Premier League. The Gunners were last on the ladder with two points after seven rounds but produced a series of remarkable performances culminating in an epic Grand Final in front of a boisterous crowd. Goalkeeper David McLaren was the hero making two saves in the shoot-out to seal the win.
